Over the past few weeks, we’ve asked all of you to prepare your apps for the transition to the Meta Horizon Store. We’re just as excited as you to get your apps more discoverable and in front of a large audience. The transition process is now complete! Previously released App Lab apps are now discoverable on the Meta Horizon Store. What’s next?Make sure you have updated your Comfort Level and Keywords to ensure your app is discoverable and can easily be found by users. You may have noticed a few new tools showing up in the Developer Dashboard, we’ll follow up soon to review these new tools and how to use them to set your app up for success in this new, more open ecosystem. In the meantime, check out the FAQs on the Developer Center for answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about the Meta Horizon Store.

The start of a single channel for the distribution of XR content compatible with Meta Horizon OS will imply the progressive disappearance of the App Lab, the alternative store. This change will be made in stages, first bringing the games and applications that are considered of highest interest to the new main store to a section dedicated to them.

In the near future, new titles submitted will go directly to the Horizon Store, content that will have to pass a series of basic technical and privacy requirements, and that will be reviewed at the time the developers submit them, and may be reviewed again as they reach more people.
