Steam Link app, a reliable option to PCVR.

Steam link Poster

With Steam Link, you can stream your favorite games from your Steam library directly from your computer to your Meta Quest headset. Using the power of your PC, it provides an intuitive, high-fidelity way to play your favorite titles wirelessly, chat with friends, and access desktop applications.

Less is more.

Using Steam Link means we don’t need to open Meta Quest Link, which translates to one less program to run. Additionally, the connection with Steam Link is established directly from the Meta Quest UI, appearing like a browser window. This provides a faster and more stable option than waiting for Meta Quest Link to load.

With Steam Link, once the connection is complete, Steam Home launches (if enabled), though by keeping it disabled, we can save system resources and directly launch the application we need.

To get started, download and install Steam Link on your headset. Follow the steps to connect it wirelessly to your computer, which must be on the same network as the headset with Steam installed and running.
