GTA VI: delayed

In a recent announcement that has once again shaken the video game industry, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the delay of GTA 6 until May 26, 2026. The upcoming entry in the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto series is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated games of the decade. Initially expected to launch in 2025, the game has now been pushed back—a reminder that even the biggest studios face challenges when it comes to large-scale game development.

From the perspective of our small indie game studio, also deeply involved in the development of video games, this news offers some important context. If a giant like Rockstar, with virtually unlimited resources and decades of experience, needs more time to refine its blockbuster title, then the path for smaller studios like ours is bound to be equally (if not more) complex. Our upcoming project, Human Reality, for example, has been in development for years, requiring creativity, technical innovation, and plenty of trial and error. The delay of GTA 6 serves as a reminder that bringing a truly polished game to market takes time—no matter the size of your team.

That said, the GTA VI release date delay also leaves space for new, unique experiences to step into the spotlight. While you wait for the streets of Vice City to open up again, we invite you to discover some of our available titles—ready to play right now:

  • 🧠 Logic Gates VR – A virtual reality puzzle game recently updated with new challenges, performance improvements, and a smoother experience for fans of logical thinking.
  • 🎄 Tió Simulator – A fun and culturally rich game inspired by the Catalan Christmas tradition. Great for the holidays, sure, but just as fun when you’re looking to cool off during the summer.
  • 👻 Coming soon: The Corridor, an immersive horror experience that adapts in real-time to the player’s fear responses. A unique take on psychological gameplay—perfect for those who enjoy something truly different.

The delay of Grand Theft Auto VI is also a great opportunity for curious players to explore titles outside the mainstream. The video game landscape is broader than ever, and independent developers around the world are creating stories, mechanics, and experiences worth discovering—even if they don’t come with a viral trailer or a multimillion-dollar budget.
